"Thanks again for sending me your video’s. You did just an awesome job with them and I learned a ton. I used some of the knowledge I learned in your video’s to take a bull this year so you might as well pin my pic to your photos page." Kris Marble
"Hey Paul, well it's so much fun talking about it here it is. 04 was my first year with Greg and my first time with a bow out west. Swinging luck to Greg cause I spend a lot of time on line...(finding your Cd's)" Mike McBuss
"...After 7 years of elk hunting, I'm still learning new tactics and
mostly from those (Elknut) Cd's, which I just listened to again Saturday. I wish we'd have had those from the beginning, I know I would've killed more
elk. Thank him for sharing his knowledge for me."

"We just got back from Colorado and what a trip! Snow, rain, wind, hail, sun, you name it. Cold 20 degree mornings too. I shot a cow elk, 25 yard shot and a 60 yard follow up shot in the chest on Tuesday morning, and then I shot a 4x4 bull elk on Wed. afternoon, he only went 45 yards and piled up..perfect double lung shot. Nothing like bow hunting elk !" Jerry

This was my first year of Archery elk hunting and the DVD's that you sent me, taught me sooooooooo much about elk and what they mean when they are bugling or cow calling ........ That would be just fine if you posted my photos, I truly believe that if it weren't for the instruction that I received from the DVD's, I would not have been successful. Rick Hansen

Paul (Both of you),
Last year I went Bow hunting for elk in colorado for my first time. I got within 70 - a hundred yards of bulls several times but couldn't close the distance. I had bought a couple elk calls with the instructional video and thought I was all set. This year I was reading an article about elk hunting in "Bowhunting America". Your DVD set was recommended as a way to learn the language and increase your chances of success dramatically. I thought what the heck, Why not try it. This series is is un believable! I went through it 5 times, took notes and practiced hard(I had to wait until my wife was out of the house). I had a pretty easy time getting used to the mouth call as I am an avid turkey hunter here in MN. This year I had only 4 days to hunt in colorado. I called in several bulls each day. Once I had 4 satelites coming in at the same time. One was a monster 6x. Too bad I blew the shot - it hit a twig. Anyway on the last day I called in two more bulls. My wife was with me and got a video clip on her little camera. I used the "threat level 1" to bring em in hot. It was great. You can see the video on "you tube" search for "elk kill bow hunt 35 yds". Its not a monster but its my first and I have something to build on. This was the most exciting hunting experience I've ever had. Thanks so much for sharing your info, I really feel confident in the elk woods now. I will tell everyone I know to buy your product and I hope it makes you rich enough to afford that New Mexico trip to shoot a 400+
Thanks again!

Brent Workman's first bull elk!
Hi Paul,
Just wanted to send you a quick email to thank you. I finally got my first elk after 5 years of trying. A small 6x6. My hunting partner and I discussed (on the long pack out) that without watching your dvd's we
would not have gotten a shot. Just knowing what to do in the crunch made all the difference.
Again thank you, Brent Workman
Paul i did it...... i finally did it!!! on September 24th, i killed my very first bull elk, a 5X5!!! what an experience and thrill it once to finally be able to place an arrow in the pump station. many thanks to you, you deserve a ton of credit for this one.
the success rate for the unit i hunted in Colorado(altho full of elk) was 10% overall and only 2 percent for bull success. well, in a group of 7, we killed 3 bulls.... 2 5X5's and a 300 inch 6X6. we reached this particular statictic in only 6 days, had we hunted another 4-5 days, i am certain that all would have killed.
i thank you and the rest of my crew thanks you. we owe you so much!!! i will try to get you some pics of all of the bulls!!!

Comments i purchased the cd series of bugling bulls and beyond and calling all cows before i left for a hunting trip to colorado. i drove from mississippi to walsenburge co. and listened to the cd's over and over on the way. this was my first elk hunt ever, plus it was on public land. just wanted to say i got close to many nice bulls using your techniques and calls (2-3 pushing 350+). released an arrow at one but shot low (he came in so fast didnt have time to check yardage). lots of scrub oak where i was so it was too thick to make ethical shots at most of the others. lots of knocked arrows and lots of chances to get drawn back, no meat but lots of great memories. i plan on trying to go every year from now on. great cd's guys and thanks for making a valuable product for a first timer to the elk world. bryce neely florence, ms

Paul,
Here's the pics. It was a great hunt and I couldn't have called in any of the bulls without your help.
Plus it was great to do it on our own. First time calling and in new territory in the middle of nowhere. Plus the bulls were not bugling at all. They were completely quite. Until we found them and called! Paul, I can tell you that your dvd was awesome!
Now I need to get a bull! Hopefully I'll get a chance to go next year somewhere, just have to do some more research.
Take care,
Rocco
Paul,
We just got back from our huntin the West Elk wilderness of Co., and had an awesome time. We didn't get a bull, but had alot of close calls.
I got a cow and then called a monster 6x6 to me 2 hrs later. Isn't it always like that.
Thanks for the calling tips over the phone and your Worse than Wolves dvd.
I was calling like a pro, even though it was my first time.
I called in a bull for my buddy in the 1st hour of hunting, but no shot.
Then we couldn't find an elk for 4days.
On the last day I figured out where they are, and up and over the mountain we went. Immediately I called up a monster 6x6 and a good 5x5 for my buddy, but no shot.
Then I called up another 6x6, but no shot. All within 30 mins.
We moved about 1/4mi and called again and 2 cows came in.
I was hoping they would draw in a bull, but no luck, so I shot one at 8 steps.
then I went after the bell for my buddy and called him for 2hrs. I went through all 3 threat levels and he finally came in. that was the one that came in to 20 yds from me, but I already tagged out so had to pass.
with your help I called in 5 good bulls within bow range on my first elk hunt. Not too bad! Next year I'll get a bull.
Thanks again, Rocco

Paul-
David Hutton here... just got back from my CO DIY public land hunt. Your Chuckler grunt tube worked great, as well as the Rocky's Raging Bull and Mellow Yellow diaphram calls I ordered from you. Your instructional DVD series was invaluable in learning to speak "elk". This is my first archery bull and I shot him at 25 yards quartering to me at 8:04 am in the middle of a pass at 9,800 feet on his way over from the south side to the north side to bed down for the day. He was pushing a hot cow and had a little 4X4 satelite hot on her tail before this guy popped up screaming with an alder branch stuck in his brow tines! Exciting stuff!!!
Thanks again for all of your advice, help and your great products...
David Hutton
Hey
Second day of season...60 yards steep down hill, held for 40 yards... He went about a little over a 10th of a mile on the gps,He was 40 yards from the end of a road and chose to go off a steep drop and piled up in this mess. It took us 25 minutes to clear it out so we could work on him.
More later DARIN
The Story...
My brother, buddy and I hunted very hard for 7 days and between what we learned from the DVD's and being into elk, I now feel like a real elk hunter. I was very fortunate to luck into a beautiful bull on the last day of the hunt. To be honest, I have never put any time into cow calling or bugling before this trip and he came right into my cow call. He stopped broadside at 30 yards and began to feed, I put my 30 yard pin just behind the shoulder and fired. The arrow went exactly where the pin was held and this bull didn't even know he had been hit. He looked up and walked less than 20 yards and started swaying from side to side and then tipped over. It was absolutely amazing!!! My first shot at an elk with a bow and I hit him through both lungs and he tipped over in less than 30 seconds, right before my eyes. I am now hooked on elk hunting!!!
