We recognize that there are many sucessful elk hunters out there. Our videos are not meant to teach you a completely new way to hunt. The purpose behind our videos is to help you become an even better hunter! We have no doubt that no matter what your skill level is that our videos will help you to improve your hunting abilities! Whether you are a bow hunter or rifle hunter. For example, maybe you hunters have called a bull or cow in in the past but have never been able to repeat your success. Did you just do the right thing at the right time that once and now you don't know why the same bugle or cow call won't bring them in for you again? Well these videos will explain where and why you went right that time. And then also explain why the same calls aren't working for you now. Because you are going to learn the elks language, and what they want to hear! In order to tell them what they want to hear you have to know what each bugle or cow call means and how to respond. USING ELK SOUNDS THAT MAKE SENSE!!!!
Many hunters today realize the importance not only in making elk sounds but understanding them too! This is a HUGE KEY to successful elk hunting! Think about it! You're in the elkwoods & every year you hear various sounds & tones from both cows & bulls, can you in 90% of the instances tell what's going on or happening without question or are you scratching your head or giving your partner a funny look as if, what the heck was that? Many fall into this category & tell themselves that they need to do something about understanding elk talk! When We say elk talk, we mean just that! For instance, do you know why Bulls bugle, which bugle means what? Why do bulls pant or huff, when do they use huffing grunts, (ape like in sound) glunk, what's the sound when a bull is calling a cow to him or what's the sound when he's calling his separated cows back. Why do bulls chuckle? Why do they grunt? These are not one in the same. Do you know the difference? How about, when is it they use these sounds. There's many more! Cows too have their language as well, from mews, chirps, to inviting a bull their way. They plead, whine, show nervousness, they show excitement & can even be in a distressed state when harassed. Cows also bugle when in herds by themselves, there's so many other sounds & the situations you'll hear them in that is talked about in these videos.

Volume II takes the calling techniques found in volume one a step further with more details on the actual calls and with additional information, such as........ those popping grunts (have you ever heard of them?) they can be the difference between success or watching the bull walk away. We have live footage of an elk making this popping grunt in the woods. We will cover in depth the lost cow call and when to use it. Also tips on finding bulls that are not vocal and bringing them into bow range just by finding fresh elk sign. We also discuss how to use the call, and stalk method on those early season bulls and much more.
